When Self-Employed Contractors Risk It All

The courage required to participate in this walkout cannot be overstated.

These aren’t traditional employees with union protection and job security, they’re self-employed contractors who could face immediate termination of their agreements with DPD for refusing to work.

DPD wanted to cut costs by slashing driver pay and scrapping the £500 Christmas bonus that many relied on, and customers are now paying the price through delayed deliveries and missed commitments whilst drivers risk everything to make their voices heard.
